Welcome to the guide on configuring AT&T email with Outlook. Follow the instructions below to get your AT&T email working with Outlook.
First, open your Outlook application on your device. If you don't have it, download and install the latest version from the Microsoft website.
In Outlook, click on "File" in the top left corner, then select "Add Account." Choose "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."
Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next" to continue with the configuration process.
Fill in your name and AT&T email address in the respective fields. Choose "IMAP" as the account type and enter the incoming and outgoing mail server details.
Set the incoming mail server as "imap.mail.att.net" and enter "993" as the port number. Choose "SSL/TLS" as the encrypted connection type.
For the outgoing mail server, enter "smtp.mail.att.net" and set the port number to "465." Choose "SSL/TLS" as the encrypted connection type.
Input your AT&T email address as the username and your account password. Check the "Remember password" box for convenience.
Click on "Test Account Settings" to ensure everything is set up correctly. If the test is successful, click "Close" and then "Finish."
