At a meeting of the National Economic Committee on Tuesday, Sindh cm Murad Ali Shah blamed Imran Khan on the delay in development projects in the province, the border position reported.
Completing with the Government of Pakistan on the delay of development projects in the province of Sindh, the Main Minister Murad Ali Shah commented that talking or writing to Prime Minister Imran Khan is like talking with the deaf.
At a meeting of the National Economic Committee on Tuesday, Shah said that he was concerned about the delay in development projects in the province and blamed Imran Khan for the situation, reported the border position.
“We have the PM, he told the PM that he gives us the money with the promise of building roads in a year, but never did it,” said Sindh’s main minister.
Shah also said that the finance division had announced 14 schemes for the province of Punjab this year along with 10 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 28 for Balochistan and only two for Sindh.
“Only two schemes of 1,500 million were announced for Sindh,” he complained, and added that it was not enough for the province that was generating 70 percent of the income of the country.
Noting that none of Sindh’s projects had been included in the portfolio of the National Road Authority (NHA), he said that NHA has assigned only $ 7 billion for Sindh development projects this year.
On Monday, Chief’s Minister of Sindh wrote a letter to Khan who complained about “flagrant bias against Sindh” and accused him of not considering the people of the province, reported the border position.
With regard to the protest of the city of Bahria, Shah said that the province of Sindh was allowed all the constructions on earth he had purchased. “They told us that a peaceful protest is being organized and the demonstrators were instructed against violence, the blocks of the road and the hate’s discourse,” he said.
