To all the Virgin River fans out there, their wait for the third season has finally ended as Virgin River Season 3 is all set to be released.
Virgin River Season 3 Recap
Virgin River is a Netflix drama that revolves around a story in Small town life in Northern California, where Mel relocates to get a brand-new start after undergoing tragedy. In previous seasons, we saw things get steamy when she encounters the very attractive and charming Jack, who brings his baggage to the table.
Mel and Jack didn’t converse directly for the entire first season, yet hooked up early on in season 2. However, their love life was put on hold due to Jack’s involvement with pregnant ex Charmaine. The relationship was finally coupled in the finale. The ending scene had Jack being shot by an unknown assailant.
Virgin River Season 3– Plot twists
Virgin River has Returned to resolve some unanswered abrupt endings and renew the romance between nurse practitioner Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and bar owner or former Marine Jack (Martin Henderson).
If you were concerned about Jack’s fortune after the season 2 finale when he was shot at his bar, you could now be relieved as Jack is alive, though perhaps not entirely well.
In Virgin River season 3, we will see Jack recover, who will later head toward looking for whoever shot him.
What’s New In Virgin River Season 3
Season three will not be revolving around just Mel and Jack. Instead, some new storylines would roll by showing Lizzie and Ricky’s blossoming relationship. The trailer had itself acknowledged some of our most central questions, including the confirmation of Doc going blind and Jack withstanding the shooting (shocker).
But at times, more explanations can often lead to more questions, especially regarding Doc and Hope’s complex relationship and Preacher’s involvement with Michelle’s cover-up. Rest is still the mystery to be solved on the release of season 3.
Virgin River Season 3 Release date
As per the official news by Netflix, Filming wrapped up for the third season earlier in 2021, and season 3 of Virgin River will premiere on July 3, 2021. This is even earlier than fans had expected, as the third season is out in just six months after the second season went into the air.

The leading cast of Virgin River Season 3 is the same, led by Alexandra Breckenridge, a nurse practitioner and midwife originally from Los Angeles.
Beside her is the owner of the bar and the Former US marine, Martin Henderson, as Jack Sheridan.
