New Delhi: As a speculation of Shiv Sena’s reunion talks with BJP heated up, his leader Sanjay Raut had emphasized more than once that the bond between the parties remained, wherever politics took it. Today, he explained this “bond” by referring to the announcement of the divorce of Aamir Khan’s actor.
“We are not India-Pakistan. Look at Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, it’s like them. Our political way (Shiv Sena, BJP) is different but friendship will remain intact,” said MP Sena and spokesman for the Ani news agency.
However, Sanjay Raut clarified that there were no questions about the Congress of Sena-Nationalist Shiv (NCP) – Alliance Congress in Maharashtra broke up and said the government would survive full position.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce last weekend after a 15-year marriage. On Sunday, both of them sat together, held hands when Aamir Khan said at the virtual event: “You must have heard of us. You will feel sad, surely surprised. But we just want to tell you that we are very happy. And we are one family. Our relationship has changed but we are still together. “
Mr. Raut’s analogy is in response to the BJP leader and former Maharashtra Minister Devendra Fadnavis said their party was “not an enemy”.
“There is no IFS and but in politics. Decisions are taken according to the things that apply. There may be some differences with Shiv Sena but we are not enemies. Remember that Shiv Sena against the selection with us and after the results, join hands with Congress and NCP,” Fadnivis said on Sunday.
Both parties have been in talks for possible patch-ups for some time, say sources, in the middle of the tensions report in the Maharashtra coalition led by Sena Sena.
The first signs of the reserve between Sena and BJP passed when Maharashtra Minister Uddhav Thackeray spoke one on one with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their meeting last month for the problem related to the state.
Immediately after the meeting, Mr. Raut said that PM Modi was the “leader of the country”.
In an interview to NDTV last week, Mr. Rau said Uddhav Thackeray and PM Modi shared the old bond.
“They talked about 40 minutes alone. This should not lead to speculation that BJP will join hands with Sena for a government. Our path is different. BJP is contradictory and we still have strong personal bonds. Ties between Thackeray and Narendra Modi families for years . Politics can be separated but strong personal bonds, “said Raut.
“See Sharad Pawar. We always have a relationship with the pawar family despite our political differences. This is a Maharashtra tradition – we are people who keep relationships as intact,” he added.
