After the unrelenting overnight rainfall, the severe waterlogging was reported on Monday morning in Gurugram and residents were taken to social media to share images of flooding housing complexes, attacking city corporations and poor infrastructure.
A road in the Gurugram Sector 65 surrendered, making it untightweight for more than 3,000 people living in the adjacent zamrud hills, and important connectivity routes near the Artemis Hospital in Sector 52 truly flooded.
While Twitter was flooded with photographs of damaged roads and clogged with overflowing disposal water, people slammed the ML Khattar government to “make German Gurgaon in India in the wrong way.”
The Indian Meteorology Department on Sunday predicts that Gurugram is expected to receive “heavy until the rainfall is very heavy with a storm or lightning” for the next two days.
This is the condition of Artemis Hospital Road ( towards Nirvana Country) after today’s rain. None of the drains is ever clean, all the Nullahs are stuck. This has become every year’s affair. @gurgaon_live @cmohry pic.twitter.com/HHhsVenM6n
