Rahul Gandhi, 2 Years After He Was Made To Go Back, Returns To J&K Today

Srinagar: Two years after he turned from the airport, the leader of the Rahul Gandhi congress will arrive at Srinagar today on a two-day visit.
This will mark the first visit from Mr. Gandhi to Jammu and Kashmir after it was stripped of special status and state in 2019.

Rahul Gandhi has led the opposition delegation to Kashmir in 2019, a few days after the special status for Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 the Constitutionalized with the President and State commands divided into two union regions, but were forced to return from Srinagar Airport.

The 51-year-old leader will inaugurate the Bhawan Congress in Srinagar tomorrow. He will also discuss party officials and meet various leaders from various regions in J & K.

The visit, which coincided with the two-year anniversary of the Scraph of Article 370, came after the meeting of all new parties referred to by Prime Minister Narendra Modi where the congress pitched for the state recovery of J & K.

Administration has last week released a 76-page booklet that included its achievements over the past two years. It is said that 890 central laws have apply in Jammu and Kashmir, with 205 state laws revoked and 130 others are modified.

It also said that it has published a 41.05 lakh domicile certificate to replace a former permanent resident certificate that gives exclusive rights to land and work in Jammu and Kashmir.
