The organization in Bangladesh protested against the attack on the Hindu community in the country. A protest parade was held in Chittagong on Friday on the attack on the Hindu community and the murder of ongoing Hindu teachers and the rape of Hindu women in Bangladesh, local media reported.
Hindu Sangbad, a Bangladesh news agency wrote on Twitter, “Demonstrations by various Hindu organizations in Shahbagh and throughout the country were also held peacefully as protests against radical savage attacks against Hinduism in Narail Sahapara.”
Previously, the Minister of Home Affairs Bangladesh Asaduzzaman Khan said the government would ensure strict actions against people who disturbed communal harmony in the country.
The Bangladesh National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) also directs the Ministry of the Interior to investigate attacks and determine whether there is negligence in preventing them. NHRC also said that violence in “secular countries” was unacceptable under any circumstances.
According to Ani, the statement of human rights emerged after the Hindu minority report was attacked in Bangladesh revealed in the midst of rumors about alleged Facebook posts that slandered Islam.
Hindu minority houses burned on July 15 in the Sahapara area in Lohagara, Narail. The masses began to burn the house after Friday prayers, saying that a 18 -year -old man from the environment injured their religious feelings on Facebook.
According to local residents, the position was made by Akash Saha, a 18 -year -old student in the village. They gathered after Friday prayers and protested in front of the student’s house, demanding his arrest.
The masses spread to the homes of Hindu minority neighbors after learning that the boy was lost. One of the victims whose houses were burned told The Daily Star, “After one group looted all our valuables, another group came and found our door open. Because there was nothing left to be looted, they burned our house.”
“I don’t know how long this threat of violence will haunt us. Who will give us justice? Who will give us security? If I am at home while they burned it, I will die. God saves me. But is this the way to survive “What I have now is Sari in my body,” he added.
The police arrested Akash’s father, Ashoke Saha on Friday to “control the situation”, while they were preparing to submit a case under the Digital Security Law to Akash.
So far, no attacker has been arrested, reporting the Daily Star.
