Aditya Roy Kapur plays a para commando on a mission in the latest action thriller. On July 1, the big-budget action movie was made available in theaters. The film is helmed by up-and-coming director Kapil Verma. It was originally going to be called Om: The Battle Within, but the title was changed to Rashtra Kavach Om due to legal issues with title rights. The movie is now ready for a digital premiere on ZEE5 on August 11. In addition to Kapur, the film has lead performances from Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, and Ashutosh Rana. Aditya, who plays Om in the movie, is on a quest to save the nation while also looking for the Raksha Kavach. The action thriller also discusses what Rashtra Kavach is, how Om is coping with this task, and how he is handling his relationships in life.
In a statement regarding its OTT release, Aditya stated, “With ‘OM’ having its world digital premiere on ZEE5, I look forward to the film reaching a wider audience! Hope the viewers have as much fun watching it as we had to make it.”
Manish Kalra, the chief business officer of ZEE5, said that the action genre enjoys huge popularity on the streaming platform, and they are excited about the release of ‘Rashtra Kavach Om’.

The timing of the world digital premiere of ‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ is perfect as what better to watch on Independence Day weekend than this action-packed patriotic film with family,” Kalra said in a statement.

The trailer for the movie is already out. In which we see the story of Om, a commando, who is sent on an important mission. He gets shot and suffers memory loss. However, he remembers the time when he was little and away from his scientist father Dev, who went missing. Dev is deemed to be a traitor to the country. Later, it shows Om is shortly sent to Armenia on a mission to reclaim the Kavach, a revolutionary weapon taken from the Indian government, and reports back to Murthy. To complete the mission, Om is reunited with his special forces team, which includes Kavya and Rohit.
