Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor, producer and former model. After starting his fashion model, he has diversified into acting roles, appearing in Havoc (2005) films, coach Carter (2005), Supercross (2005), she is man, then a step forward and a Guide to recognize your saints, all of which were launched in 2006.
He was born in Cullman, a small town in Alabama and then moved to Wetumpka, Alabama. Tatum has a sister. His family moved to Mississippi when he was six years old, although he visits Alabama, where his mother still lives. Tatum grew in the Bayous near the Mississippi River, where he enjoyed a rural existence, including “all rattlesnakes and caimanes, a child could pursue, fish every day, the Warner Pop Soccer League, things like that.” [1]
Tatum was Atlético as he grew up, played American football, football, athletics, baseball and martial arts, although he says that “girls were always [his] greater distraction of him in school.” [1] Tatum initially attended Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida. After his second year, he “had an option [to attend] a military school or a private school.” He chose the private school, Tampa Catholic High School in Tampa, Florida. He graduated in 1998 and was voted more athletic. Subsequently, Tatum received a football scholarship from Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, although he soon lost interest in the sport and rejected the scholarship, citing his disgust for the demands of playing football.
