Chinese President Xi Jinping told his colleague Russia Vladimir Putin on Thursday that Beijing was willing to work with Moscow as a “great force” during his first trip abroad since the beginning of Pandemi.
“China is willing to make efforts with Russia to take the role of great power, and play a role in guiding to inject stability and positive energy into the world that is shaken by social chaos,” Xi told Putin during the leader of the Shanghai Shanghai Shanghai (SCO) Cooperation Organization in Samarkand , Uzbekistan.
This SCO consists of China, Russia, India, Pakistan and four Central Asian countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
“Recently, we have overcome the impact of Pandemi Covid-19, spoken many times by telephone, and continue to communicate strategically effectively,” Xi told Putin.
“We are very willing to use this Shanghai cooperation organization meeting to exchange views with you about international and regional problems that are of mutual concern,” he said.
XI arrived at Uzbekistan on Wednesday and had held talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev about “Deepening of Bilateral Cooperation” and “Regional and International Issues which were distributed together”.
The visit came after a trip to Kazakhstan, where Xi swore with full support for a country that was frightened by the Russian invasion of Ukraine neighbors.
