43 The new Minister took an oath in the Cabinet Reboot PM Modi

New Delhi: Forty-three new ministers will be sworn – tonight when Prime Minister Narendra Modi tries to change his government which has been highly criticized for the handling of the Coronavirus crisis, soaring prices, and hatred of several parts.
The names in the cabinet reshuffle include several newcomers and existing ministers to be moved.

In an unexpected move, Ravi Shankar Prasad, who holds the main portfolio of Legal and Information Technology, and Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Information and Broadcasting and Heavy Industry, resigned.

Also among the top ministers who were asked to resign was the Minister of Health Harsh Vardhan, paid political prices for the government’s struggle to overcome the second wave of destructive Koronavirus infection.

Overall, at least 12 ministers have resigned including the prominence such as the Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Minister of Environment Junior Babak Supriyo.

The “big” ministers for finance, foreign affairs, home and defense, however, cannot be changed.

Before announcing the first cabinet reshuffle since winning the second term in 2019, PM Modi consulted with the BJP leaders, a government official said.

The government’s sources said the prime minister had aimed to include younger members from his party to become a minister and also provide a greater representation to women and classes backwards – important considerations ahead of the election of important countries began with Uttar Pradesh early next year.

There was a plan for the ceremony swore to the new minister at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 6pm. Only a small number of people will attend the ceremony because of the risk of Coronavirus.

The PM Modi government has faced his most stinging criticism in years when infection and death soared in April and May, the hospital and extraordinary crematorium.

The pictures of the body allegedly victims of Covid-19 washing on the banks of the Ganges river sparked anger for failure to do more to protect vulnerable communities.

The leader of the Senior Congress P Chidambaram is the first to comment on changes.

“The resignation of the Ministry of Health Union and MOS (Minister of State) Health is Candid’s recognition that the MOD government really failed to manage pandemics,” Mr. Chidambaram tweeted.

“There is a lesson for the ministers in this resignation. If everything becomes a credit will go to PM, if the minister’s fault will become the autumn person. That is the price of a minister paying implicit compliance and unqualified disobedience,” he wrote.
